An Interesting Discussion….

Had an interesting discussion earlier this week over breakfast with some coworkers.

They are fully aware that I am an ally to tri-Pride, that I believe in, and stand with law enforcement, and that I am a proud card carrying Conservative.

Discussing the BLMTO situation and the Toronto Pride parade, as well as the shootings in Dallas and various videos on social media of BLM supporters encouraging attacking and shooting police officers; I am frustrated and at a loss for words.

Within a few minutes I was called a racist, a Nazi and a homophobe.

I AM TIRED OF BEING LABELLED A RACIST BY THE COLOUR OF MY SKIN.

I AM TIRED OF BEING LABELLED A NAZI FOR BELIEVING IN UPHOLDING THE LAW AND THE RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS. IT CAN BE INPROVED. THE KILLINGS OF UNARMED PEOPLE (BLACK OR WHITE) SHOULD BE PROSECUTED.

I AM TIRED OF BEING LABELLED A HOMOPHOBE FOR MY POLITICAL ALLEGIANCE. THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY and THE PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVE PARTY HAVE TAKEN POSITIVE STEPS.IN EQUALITY FOR ALL CANADIANS.
